Organisational Topology
March 23 @ 18:00 - 18:30 CET
Overview
Any organization that designs a system (defined broadly) will produce a design whose structure is a copy of the organization’s communication structure. (Melvin E. Conway)
Organisation structures define business performance, limits employees’ ability to build and interact through (in-)formal social networks and handle different cognitive workloads.
Organisational Topologies are approach elaborated in the Conway’s law and the Cognitive Load Theory; these concepts support optimal design of organisations for both business and technologies.
During the webinar, you will gain an understanding of organisational topologies, tools to translate business strategy into an optimal structure with clear roles and responsibilities, design optimal job profiles, understand internal and external people networks, defines business performance KPIs, and governance.
